The Tri-Tip is truly one of the most versatile beef cuts available. Well-known on the West Coast, this cut is great on the smoker, grilled, or to add flavorful protein to your favorite salad.  It is highly marbled and full of flavor.  We like it simply seasoned, seared and grilled over indirect heat to medium rare.  One note, slicing the steak across the muscle grain will enhance the eating experience.

Our Tri-Tip is sold individually as a primal cut and is an average of 2.5-3lb. It ships frozen with dry ice to ensure quality and wholesomeness upon arrival to your home. All of our beef is wet-aged a minimum 14 days. Wet-aging increases tenderness and enhances the beef’s deep, rich flavor.

We recommend thawing the Tri-Tip in the refrigerator 2 to 4 days, depending on weight, before cooking it to your liking.
